In my modern master watchmaker´s workshop, I repair with years of experience in the field of high-quality luxury watches such as: Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Breitling, IWC, Sinn and a lot more.
However, I don´t just repair high-quality luxury watches, because heirlooms in the form of an old pocket watch or beloved daily companions from the living room such as a table clock or wall clock also deserve to be serviced or repaired on a regular basis. Traditional craftsmanship meets modern machines.
Talk to me and together we will find the best way to get your watch running again.
And this is how the repair works:
First, the movement are removed fom the case. This means that the case and any existing metal band can be thoroughly cleaned separately in an ultrasonic bath.
After the movement has been removed, the hands and dial are first dismantled and carefully stored. The movement is then completely dismantled into its individual parts. This involves checking whether parts are damaged and need to be reworked or should perhaps be completely replaced before the individual parts are cleaned in the cleaning machine.
After successful cleaning, assembly begins including oiling or greasing. Before the watch is regulated on the timing machine, the movement demagnetized so as not to cause any measurement errors. After the regulation, the date switch, automatic mechanism, dial and hands are installed.
As soon as everything assembled and its functions are checked, the movement goes into the case, which is then closed again with the caseback.
Now the final inspection takes place. The final inspection includes checking the water resistant as well as long-term inspection on the circulating device. This checks whether the watch is running accurately and in the case of automatic watches, whether power reserve is built up and the automatic function ot the watch is present.
After this extensive repair, you will receive a fully functional watch back, which comes with a 12 month warranty.
Don´t you just want the watch to be in top condition again on the inside? No problem.
After consulting with you, I can also restore the casing and any existing metal strap to an almost new condition.
I only do this if requested, as the watch is a daily companion and you an see it.
